on the rise

i have been searching for the perfect jean with the most comfortable rise and i have finally found it! 

i was lured in by all those j.crew sale emails and i stumbled upon the "midrise" jean. 

i had been looking for a pair of black jeans and with the discount i couldn't resist and i am so glad 

i didn't.low riding jeans have never been too practical (or comfortable) and i cannot handle 

the feel of a high rise jean unless it is a special occasion (and with a 70's flared leg). 

but seriously, these jeans are perfect. they hit above the hip and have a little bit of stretch. 

you can sit in them comfortably and your butt is not hanging out. 

dear j.crew, please keep this rise around!!!
